To empower marginalized communities through participatory development, fostering a society where every individual has the dignity, resources, and opportunity to thrive. We are committed to bridging socio-economic gaps and ensuring that no one is left behind.

What we do

POEM (Participatory Organization for Empowering Marginalized) has been working on the frontlines of rural development in Sindh. Headquartered in Mirpurkhas, Sindh, Pakistan. We do not believe in temporary handouts. Instead, we use a participatory approach—working with the community, not just for them—to build resilience, dignity, and self-reliance. Our interventions are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to ensure global standards of impact at the local level.
